Lensmoor's StaffImplementorsImplementors primarily care for the the development of Lensmoor's game mechanics and code. ArawnArawn is the MUD's owner and lead implementor. He lives in Chicago, with his wife (who has never logged on). His other hobbies include motorcycling across the country, tabletop wargaming and playing guitar.
Arawn's in-character persona is that of the Lensmoorian God of Death. His followers seek to employ death as a tool to improve the world by weeding out the weak, leaving only the strong and worthy behind. Arawn and his followers belong to the evil end of the moral spectrum, but explain their actions in a end-justifies-the-means way. RocShamanRocShaman is one of the MUD's founders. Alongside Arawn, he is one of the implementors. In-character, RocShaman is the Lensmoorian God of Music and Prose. His followers mainly include bards, minstrels and other artists. Rocshaman and those who follow him are neutral, their primary care in the world being art. Senior ImmortalsSenior immortals are administrators and supervisors, in addition to one or more regular staff roles. AldurAldur is one of the MUD's senior staff members. In-character, Aldur is the Lensmoorian God of Travel. He wanders the world at random, governed mainly by his whims. Aldur values true freedom to roam the world, and he and the travelers who follow him are among the most morally chaotic forces in the world. CelesteCeleste is a senior staff member at the Lensmoor MUD.
Celeste plays the Lensmoorian Goddess of Night. She and her followers value secrecy and loyalty to one another highly. They care little for those outside the fold, manipulating them to their advantage when needed. The followers of the Night belong to the evil end of the moral spectrum. AzshannaAzshanna is the senior staff member in charge of building. In-character, Azshanna is the Lensmoorian Goddess of Protection and Guardianship. She commands her followers to be ready to defend the weak and support others who walk the path of Good. They are able fighters, but take care not to fall prey to hatred in their struggle. Azshanna and her fold are among the forces of Good on the Lensmoorian continent. MatreyaMatreya is the senior staff member in charge of recruitment and retention of players. In-character, Matreya is the Antrippan Goddess of Fear. She teaches her followers how to employ fear to empower themselves rather than weaken them. They use fear freely as both a shield and a weapon. Her followers are mainly concerned with spreading fear as a means to gain power over others, and are thus considered evil. DredorDredor is the senior staff member in charge of questing. Dredor plays the God of Antrippan Unity. He seeks to inspire the fragmented factions of Antrippa to stand together for the good of their country, eventually to usher in an Antrippan Golden Age. They feel the evil are tearing Antrippa apart, but feel they must be enlightened to promote unity. BuildersBuilders are primarily concerned with the building of new areas as well as playerhomes- and shops. While other immortals also build their own zones, builders have this as their primary task. YanacYanac is one of the builders on Lensmoor. [He wrote most of these descriptions, and apparently calls Paiva Paipai. - Arawn] Yanac plays the role of the Antrippan God of Magic. He values knowledge and mastery of magic above all. He directs the mages who follow him to pursue insight into the fabric of magic above all else. According to Yanac, magic should be used for primarily constructive purposes. Those who abuse magic to cause destruction are his enemies. Yanac and his magi are neutral, not caring enough about the affairs of others to get involved at the cost of their pursuit of magic. AleriaAleria is one of the builders on Lensmoor. Aleria plays the role of the Antrippan Goddess of Nature. RhosmeRhosme is one of the builders on Lensmoor. Rhosme plays the role of the Lensmoorian Goddess of Festivals and Merriment. QuestorsQuesters primarily deal with the development and execution of global quests and events. EladarEladar is one of Lensmoor's questors. Eladar plays the Lensmoorian God of the Sun. He embodies several aspects of the Sun, from the light that nourishes to that which burns and destroys. He requires his followers to be both moral and ethical in order to successfully stand against the darkness. Eladar and his followers are considered good. NyiemaNyiema is one of the questors. Nyiema's in-character persona is that of the Antrippan Goddess of Vanity. She and her followers are vain in most aspects, including appearance, acquiring of wealth, pride and success. They are essentially selfish, but may consider aiding those they consider as potential followers or apprentices. Nyiema and her followers are evil. SudevaSudeva is one of the MUD's questors. Sudeva plays the Antrippan Goddess of Time and Transformation. EtienneEtienne is one of the MUD's questors.
Etienne plays the Antrippan God of Knowledge and Learning HelpersHelpers primarily deal with assisting players in various ways, including keeping documentation up-to-date and various other roles. OrinnOrinn is one of Lensmoor's helper immortals. The in-character Orinn is the Antrippan Goddess of War. She feels that war inspires growth in the races, in a survival-of-the-fittest way. The followers of wars are involved in all aspects of wars, from inspiring them to fighting in them. The following of Orinn is chaotic, although a chaotic outlook on life is not mandated by Orinn. SindriSindri is a helper on Lensmoor. Ingame, Sindri is the Lensmoorian god of Nightmares. His domain is dreams of pain, suffering and terror, and all things that go bump in the night. His followers are encouraged to embrace their nightmares and bring them to life, unleashing them upon the waking world. Sindri and his malicious followers are evil. DemigodsDemigods are junior immortals working to gain entry into one of the above categories. They have no IC persona. Tyriel, Achenar, Alganazac, Astaria, Dahani, Dammonica, Kanshec, Nyxus, Ssthyrys, Teon, ZyanyaInactiveInactive staff members are those who have contributed to the game in the past, and may still occassionally log in from time to time, but who no longer have the time to contribute on a regular basis. EurekahEurekah is an inactive senior staff members, formerly a builder.
The in-character persona of Eurekah is that of the Lensmoorian Goddess of Enlightenment and Wisdom. She and her followers are contemplative, inquisitive yet cautious. They value wisdom and a balanced life above all. Morally, Eurekah considers herself to be a keeper of balance. As such, she and her followers are neutral. GisuaneGisuane is an inactive senior staff member. In-character, Gisuane plays the Antrippan God of Madness and Change. Gisuane promotes insanity and change. While a follower of Gisuane considers himself to be enlightened in a way others are not, the world generally views him as stark raving mad. Of those few who are not truly insane, fewer yet remain that way. Gisuane and his gisuaniacs are considered chaotic, their actions often seeming entirely random to outsiders. MemnochMemnoch is an inactive senior staff member. Memnoch plays the Lensmoorian God of Luck and Charm. He and those who follow him follow their own whim, trusting chance and their personal charm to solve any problem. A gambler at heart, Memnoch and, consequently, those who follow him are chaotic. LeiraLeira was a questor on Lensmoor. The in-character Leira was the Antrippan Goddess of Exploration. Leira and her followers are devoted to the exploration and eventual reconstruction of Antrippa's former glory. Unlike the followers of Aldur, Leira and her fold approach exploration in a methodical manner. They are curious yet cautious, and a live explorer is preferrable to a dead one. Leira and followers are neutral. OghmaOghma is a questor on Lensmoor. He knows where the skeletons in Arawn's closet are, which is pretty much the only reason he's allowed to stick around. The ingame persona of Oghma is that of the Lensmoorian God of Mischief. His task in the world is to teach others how to laugh, at the world and nothing and particular. Him and his followers spread laughter and mischief through all manner of pranks, sowing a fair bit of chaos in the process. Thus, Oghma and followers are chaotic. GimtorGimtor is one of Lensmoor's builders. He also likes to throw pineapples at people. In-character, Gimtor plays the Antrippan God of Torment. The product of a fallen angel's spirit fused with a liche necromancer, Gimtor is evil of the purest sort. He and those who follow him delight in inflicting pain upon others, as either a method to a means or a cause unto itself. He and those who follow him are undeniably evil. SeragonSeragon is one of the MUD's questors. Seragon plays the Antrippan God of Strength and Honor. His followers strive to live by a strict code of honor, which includes attempting to better not only themselves but those around them. They put the welfare of Antrippa in front of their own, and belong on the Good side of the moral spectrum. EvariusEvarius is one of the MUD's helpers. He is, among other things, in charge of managing status. In-character, Evarius is the Lensmoorian god of Duty and Diplomacy. He and his followers pursue a vision of a world of peace and progress, void of destructive conflicts. His followers walk a balanced path, and are considered neutral. KarnisKarnis is. The ingame Karnis is the Lensmoorian God of Recklessness. His followers live life at its fullest, taking risks that in other people's views might be considered insane. They are scarcely afraid of anything, and will not stop at any risk short of certain death. His followers generally do as their whims dictate, and are self-proclaimed chaotics. PaivaPaiva is a helper on Lensmoor. Paiva has the role of the Lensmoorian Goddess of Hope and Diligence. She seeks to inspire hope in those who adhere to the Light. She and her followers are also persistent, never becoming discouraged in the face of failure. As followers and servants of the Light, her fold is considered to be Good. |
