Lensmoor's Story

It's hard to accurately define Lensmoor's story, as the whole game is an ongoing story, written every day by the players who take part.

However, there is a background that defines many of these stories. The world of Lensmoor is split into two continents, Lensmoor and Antrippa. Lensmoor resembles your standard medieval fantasy realm, much like any northern European country. Most of the inhabitants are well off, food is plentiful, and, apart from the occassional monster-inhabited cave, most of the natives are safe on a daily basis.

Antrippa, however, is a harsh and barren continent. Much of the land is covered in desert, and those who live there struggle to survive. The natives of Antrippa are forced to prey on those weaker than themselves in order to prosper.

The two civilizations are at odds with one another over this imbalance of prosperity. The Lensmoorians see the Antrippans as filthy savages, while the Antrippans view the Lensmoorians as pampered weaklings.

Each continent is ruled by a pantheon of gods and goddesses. These immortals rarely get involved in the battle between the civilizations, as they are too involved in petty struggles with each other to mount such coordinated activities.
